Paris, Tenn.–No one was injured but the camper trailer was a total loss after an early-morning fire today in rural Henry County.
The Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office were called to 10 York Drive around 6 a.m. today. York Drive is located just off of Elkhorn-Nobles Rd.
The initial report indicated the camper trailer was on fire with occupants possibly inside. Arriving fire units found the fire fully involved.
Fire Chief Reggie Coles said a passing motorist saw the fire and called 911. No one was at home at the time of the incident and there were no injuries.
Owner Milford White could not be reached by the fire department and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Three trucks and 8 firefighters were on the scene for about 2 hours.
Damage is estimated at $35,000.00.
